"A Spring Day for Fairies and Elves"
Step into the world of fantasy with a brand new original play by Gina Shelton. "A Spring Day for Fairies and Elves," is a delightful tale of three children, Mark, David, and Mary, who discover a magical realm hidden in the woods of London. The two act play introduces students to new dialects and opens the door to the imagination where anything is possible, if you truly believe.
$120 members / $140 non-members ($50 deposit/maximum 20)

Grade 5-8 Drama 2
THURSDAY 4:30-6:00
14 weeks starting JAN 10
Instructors: Darrin Riley
"MmmBeth!"
Shakespeare's immortal words haunt the stage in a hilarious gender-bending take on the Scottish play! A one-act play where everything goes wrong, Allison Williams' "MmmBeth" introduces students to Shakespeare's tale of greed, murder, and madness through the art of comedy. The witches take over the storytelling, Queen Duncan would rather open a donut franchise than die, Lady M's a bloodthirsty June Cleaver, and the murderers are preoccupied with creating a commercial for their services. Hone skills in comedic timing, basic stage combat, diction, and accents as well as develop skills in FX/Prosthetic stage make-up and design for this positively "Ghoulish" retelling of the play that shall not be named.
School and public performances will be held at the end of the semester.
$135 members / $155 non-members ($50 deposit/maximum 15)

Develop skills in vocal control, diction, dialects, and movement, as well as develop team work through a selection of scenes from various classic and contemporary playwrights.
