SPECIALTY AREAS

Art in Spanish • PreK4 – 2th Grade  Begins September 10 • $120/$140
Monday 3:30-4:15 with Maria Villegs
Hola, Hola! • This class is intended to be an introduction of basic phrases, commands, and dialogues in Spanish language through visual arts, music, and more.

Special Gifts/Special Needs Art • K-12th Grade  Begins September 4 • Call
Tuesday 5:30-6:30 with Jorge & Maria Villegas

Students will explore different ways of expression through the visual arts. Creativity promotes self awareness and is a wonderful way to communicate individuality and share it with others. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Voice or Beginning Piano Private Lessons • K-12th Grade
Begins September 4-10 • 12 – 30 minute private lessons $300/320

BALLET

Ballet Level 1  Begins September 5 • $120/$140
Wednesday 3:45-4:30 with Stephanie Lowrey
Level 1 places emphasis on ballet fundamentals and music connection for students kindergarten – 1st grade.

Ballet Level 2  Begins September 10 • $125/$145
Monday 4:00-5:00 (A) with Stephanie Lowrey or
Monday 5:00-6:00 (B) with Cami Lowrey and Bekah Gunter
Ballet 2 students will focus on developing techniques learned in Level 1 for students 2nd-4th grade.

Ballet Level 3  Begins September 4 • $125/$145
Tuesday 4:00-5:00 with Cami Lowrey and Bekah Gunter
Students will focus on strengthening technique with an emphasis on artistic expression for students 5-8th grade.

Ballet Level 4  Begins September 6 • $165/$185
Monday 6:00-7:15 and Thursday 6:00-7:15 with Stephanie Lowrey
Students will focus on strengthening technique with an emphasis on artistic expression for students 9-12th grade.

Ballet Level 5  Begins September 4 • $190/$210
Tuesday 5:00-7:00 and both Level 4 classes with Stephanie Lowrey
Attend the Level 4 classes plus an “intensive skills” class.  Instructors approval required. Offered only in the Fall.

GLEE

Glee Club 1-12   Begins September 4 • $125/$145

In our ongoing quest to use arts to educate, this class is dedicated to school readiness skills because learning can be fun, and by nurturing the creative spirit we can mold creative thinkers. Class will use acting and movement to help develop fine motor skills, critical thinking skills, vocabulary, and imagination.

Wednesday and Thursday 3:45-5:45 with Lynn Gunter and Haley Philips 

Join us for a production of Shakespeare’s Comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
There will be a team meeting Thursday, September 6, 5-7pm to cast roles and to pick-up scripts. Expect the rehearsal schedule to include a Saturday workday, a tech rehearsal and a few dress rehearsals in addition to the regular Wednesday and Thursday classes.
Rehearsal starts on September 19
Performances on Dec 7 at 7pm and Dec 8 at 2pm

Drawing with Digital Tools – Learn the fun of Adobe Photoshop by creating artwork using the design tools and filtering techniques of the program. Create art as easily as using a pencil or brush with the lab’s Wacom Tablets.

Fall Colors in My Neighborhood • Small children are open to experimentation and creativity. This class will observe nature with artists’ eyes, gaining skills in drawing and painting, as well as motor skills, as they cut and paste to make wonderful collages.

Visual Art 2-3 Begins September 4 • $125/$145
Tuesday 4:30-5:30 with Maria Villegas
Surprise! • Students will awaken the imagination in themselves through fun activities. Using media from colored pencils, to watercolors, to acrylics, students will explore the world around them.

Visual Art 4-6 Begins September 10 • $125/$145
Monday 3:30-4:45 with Maria Villegas
Be a New Kind of Artist • In this class, students will immerse themselves in new ways of looking at and making art. Besides drawing and painting, students will also explore mixed media techniques on paper and on canvas.

Visual Art 7-12 Begins September 5 • $140/$160
Wednesday 4:30-5:45 with Maria Villegas
This class is targeted to students who would like to receive instruction in the fundamentals of art and design. Time will be dedicated to preparing a portfolio for those considering a career in the visual arts. Students will gain skills in drawing, painting, and 3D techniques.
