The Arkansas Arts Council will hose a public forum meeting on Improving the Arts Experience in Arkansas in the Merkle Gallery on Wednesday, June 24, 1:30-4:00pm. Artists, educators and arts organizations are invited to come discuss the needs and issues for the arts as we continue growing into the future.
The agency is in the process of developing a new strategic plan that will guide it for the next five years and is holding four public forums in Arkansas this summer to gain an understanding of the needs and issues of Arkansans. The meetings will be led by Cynthia VanWinkle, CEO of Circle Communications Network, LLC.
