SAAC Teen Drama Club will stream their summer production of “The Audition” online on the SAAC website Friday and Saturday, July 10-11. By special arrangement, we have permission to stream the video of the live performance for two days only.

Eight high school students gather to audition for a play. The new theater teacher is bringing a production of “A Chorus Line” to the high school. Though the hopefuls range from shy to outrageous, and from diva-like to determined, everyone has a chance to step into the spotlight. A hilarious and heartbreaking look at the madness of auditioning and the actors who brave the process. Who will get a part? Who won’t? Who will get the lead? Who is just there to find a boyfriend? Who needs this project so they can forget, for a moment, life’s problems? Can this group pull together a performance with so many things against them? Tune in online to find out!

Director Lynn Gunter invites you to take a break from your worries and enjoy the talents of 10 local Union County teens as they experience “The Audition”.
