The Arts Academy presents Student Showcases on December 7th. Showcases are a time for the students to show parents and friends what they have been working on during the fall semester at SAAC.
The schedule for the showcases is as follows:
Ballet Showcase will be held on December 7 at 11:00am. Stephanie Lowery’s PreK-12 grades ballet classes will present “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. This fun ballet is sure to be a great way to kick off the Christmas season.
Voice and piano students of Charlsie Falcon and Kordelia Leggett will perform their recitals on December 7 at 1:00pm.
Also, on December 7, enjoy an artist’s reception for the art students of Gay Bechtelheimer, Mike Means, and Maria Villegas in the Lobby Gallery at 2:00pm, where their art will be on exhibit through the end of the month.
The Teen Drama Club will present “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder on December 13 at 7:00pm and on December 14 at 2:00pm. The students are very proud of this production and have worked on every aspect of the play, from costumes to sets to acting. Tickets are $5.00.
