2013 Theme: “A Vintage Christmas”

  • Festival Exhibit Dates: November 29 – December 9, 2013

Celebrate “A Vintage Christmas” just like the cast of “A 1940’s Radio Christmas Carol.” Return with us to a simpler time when the world wasn’t in such a rush and families gathered to celebrate the true meaning behind the holiday season. Let your memories take you back to “A Vintage Christmas” as you decorate the trees and transform the Galleries of the South Arkansas Arts Center into a celebration of generosity, friendship, and community as in days of yore.

Working hand in hand with The Salvation Army and Captain Marvel, the beautifully decorated trees will make their way to less fortunate families throughout our community that, especially during these hard times, need to know that we all make a difference in each other’s lives and that someone cares.  Tree decorating participants may choose to donate their tree and decorations to a family in need chosen by the Salvation Army, or they may deliver it to the charitable destination of their choice.
