The SAAC will host a Director’s Meet and Greet for people interested in auditioning for the upcoming spring musical, “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”, sponsored by Southern Bancorp and Teague Auto Group, on January 5 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Director Justin Howard, Assistant Director Jacob George and Vocal Director Charlsie Falcon will be on hand to answer questions and help with any early preparations for auditions on January 14-15, 2019.
“I am really excited to be a part of ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ again, this time on the production team as the assistant director,” said Jacob George. “In 2013, I was able to play Schroeder in Arkansas State University’s production of YGMCB. This show is so much fun for everyone involved. I am most looking forward to this rehearsal progress because even though we’re all going to be working hard, we get to play and be kids again. Every night will be like a couple hours of recess!”
Audition materials will be available, and participants will have a chance to hear more about Howard’s vision for this fun and charming musical. Bring your questions, your zest for fun, your best singing voice, and show up for the Director’s Meet and Greet. It is a great time to get a step ahead and feel completely prepared for auditions.
