As we begin our next 50 years, the theatre committee takes us back to the basics with a season of classics sure to delight all generations. What better way to begin than with the “Bard” himself, as we present our first staging of “Twelfth Night, or What You Will” (March 2015). Next summer we take you over the rainbow to the merry old land of OZ with a faithful version of the iconic 1938 film “The Wizard of Oz” (July 2015). We finish the year with “Miracle on 34th Street” (November-December 2015), a staged version of the 1947 20th Century Fox classic film.

Get ready for “Twelfth Night.” William Shakespeare’s comedy of gender confusion, in which a girl disguises herself as a man to be near the count she adores, only to be pursued by the woman he loves has kept audiences’ eyebrows raised while rolling with laughter for 420 years. The romantic comedy, filled with some of Shakespeare’s best insults, receives its first staging at SAAC. Auditions will be scheduled just after the New Year!
