It’s time to register for Corks and Canvas night! John Lowery will get your holidays started with a fun workshop “Rockin Around the Christmas Tree”. Due to the popularity of the arts center’s holiday workshops, this class will be hosted on both Tuesday, November 16 at 6:00pm and on Thursday, November 18 at 6:00pm.

Limit of 10 participants. The workshop fee is $40.
From the seasoned painter to the newbie, this class has something for everyone! Corks & Canvas is an art class for non-artists who have always wanted to paint, but seasoned painters are welcome as well. Each class is conducted by a different art instructor who takes the class through the step-by-step process to complete a work of art in two hours.
SAAC’s own assistant executive director, John Lowery, will be teaching this class, which he calls “Rock Around the Christmas Tree.”
“I want to bring some Christmas joy and fun to the season,” said Lowery. “We will be painting a three-dimensional Christmas tree design, which I will have prepped and ready for you to paint on an eight-by-eight canvas. It will, no doubt, be as much fun as last year’s class!”
