We are happy to present the cast for the production of “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS”, showing to the community on April 1st and 2nd in the Callaway Theater. “We have 43 of El Dorado’s most talented kids on the stage for this production of 101 Dalmatians,” said director Shelton Harden. This classic play is sponsored by El Dorado Kiwanis Club.
Based on the classic animated film, “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS” is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella de Vil, Disney’s most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences.
This exciting adventure takes place in London and is narrated by Darnarius Aaron, Mary Bone, Payton West and Riley Wilson.
Pet owners, Roger and Anita, played by Max Barrow and Isabella DeCandido, live happily in London with their Nanny and Dalmatian family, performed by Laney McLelland, Andrell Brown, Emily Henderson, Ianna Hernandez, Jocelyn Martinez, Nyla Moore and Blake Tanner.
Everything is quiet until Anita’s former classmate, the monstrous Cruella de Vil and her evil sidekicks, Jasper and Horace, acted by Elise Lyles, Carmelo Brown and Kaden Wood, plot to steal the puppies for Cruella’s new fur coat.
In addition to Max and Anita’s puppies, Cruella steals every Dalmatian puppy in the city. Arriona Brown, Zaria Brown, Presley Givens, Taylor Hayes, Yuridia Romero, and Abigail Wyatt perform the parts of the Dalmatian pups.
The dogs of London, played by Victoria Colley, Carlie Crawford, Daniel Frazier, Avery Johnson, Julia Jones, Madeline Kneeland, Kennedy Langston, Lily Langston, Dominique Miller, Gideon Moncrief, Rachel Murphree, Chloe Patterson, Maggie Phillips, Owen Shaffer, Natalee Speer, Hannia Valero and Lambert Williams, are called together for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
The day is saved at the end of a wild chase when the good guys, played by Joshua Dodson, Drake Hosford, Mary Claire Parker and Hayden Walker, lead Cruella and her boys away in handcuffs.
The kids in the SAAC Youth Theatre program have been working extremely hard to make this a fun and entertaining production, so get your friends and family together and come see their efforts come to life on the stage.
