Please welcome our new instructors! Elizabeth Wood joins the ballet staff, teaching Level 2 through Level 4 classes, and music teacher Keisha Amos will accept new students for voice and beginning piano private lessons.

Keisha Amos graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a degree in music education. While at UCA, Amos was able to tour Europe with a singing group and had the great fortune to sing at Notre Dame in Paris, as well as in many spots in Germany. She sings with her church choir and is currently a member of the “Roy Greer and Kingdom Cry” group. Amos also gave piano and voice lessons to children of military parents who were deployed.

“I am so thrilled and cannot wait to work with my new students of voice and piano at SAAC,” Amos said.

Elizabeth Wood graduated from Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. She attended the Theatre School of Dance there for 10 years. Wood also attended Ballet Magnificat summer workshops in Jackson, Mississippi, where she attained the pre-professional level status.

Wood and her husband Nathan and they have lived in El Dorado, since 2016. “I’m so happy and excited to meet my new students and see what the year will bring! We will focus on stronger technique and performance quality,” she said.

Classes begin the week of August 26-29. Scholarships are available through the SAAC office. Registration is ongoing in the SAAC office at 110 East Fifth Street, El Dorado, Arkansas. For more information, please call the SAAC office at 870-862-5474.
